We The Media: Backstory & Response to Accusations About My Involvement

Recently there have been stories being told regarding my involvement in a brand called We The Media.

Accusations include claiming that I’ve gone rogue in taking over the channel for myself, booting admins out and using others for their labor, and using the brand for personal and financial gain.

I feel this is important to address not just due to the attempted character assassinations targeting me, but the reputation of We The Media as a whole and everything myself and others have worked for over the years.

We The Media, a brand that grew to over 300,000 cumulative subscribers at it’s height, is a place where many followers go to stay up to speed on alternative media and opinion, and is also a place where contributing members feel a sense of connection and community. Because of it’s popularity and relevance in a time of alternative media need, it has always been a target of attack, both from without and within.

My goal with this article is to provide my side of the story, with receipts, to the criticism I am receiving and enlighten on the history of, and background matters pertaining to, We The Media.

→ WE THE MEDIA CREATION (2020-2022)

Toward the end of 2020, between the election and events of January 6th, Big Tech went on a rampage censoring alternative media influencers. I was in chatrooms on Twitter with other content creators, and we were desperate to migrate to another platform to maintain communications.

We went to an app called Guilded, primarily used for gamers, to create a private server as a contingency comms channel. Once we were booted from Twitter for good, we were attempting to set us our accounts on Parler, when Parler was taken offline the day after January 6th “attacks”. We attempted Gab, but Gab’s servers were getting overloaded with traffic and the website was effectively unusable.

I had been using Telegram for a few months prior to this event, starting my personal, public channel in August 2020. I suggested Telegram as an alternative on January 9th, to which Craig (known as “Inevitable ET” or IET on Twitter) created a public channel and it was named We The Media. I went through the process of teaching everyone in our chat how to use and navigate Telegram, and many of us were added as admins on Telegram the day it was started, January 10th 2021. Another content creator, Kate (“The Kate Awakening”) did administrative work for the brand, and us three (Jordan, Craig, Kate), were known as the co-founders of We The Media.

We The Media at it’s height grew to 30-35 contributors all sharing and forwarding content to the platform. We also started a Truth Social account the day that President Trump launched his platform, and grew that account to over a 100,000 followers. We The Media became a hub where hundreds of thousands of people went to inform themselves of relevant news and opinions that countered the established, propagandist narratives from the mainstream media.

→ “MOSSAD” FRACTURE (Nov/Dec 2022)

Things were moving along nicely with We The Media throughout 2021 and 2022 until November ‘22, a timeframe that we could call the great “Mossad Fracture” of We The Media. A couple particular ex-members at the time, “InTheMatrixxx” (Jeff Pedersen) and “The Authority” (Alex), created a smear campaign directed at one the three We The Media co-founders, Kate, and her boyfriend at the time Jon Herold (founder of Badlands Media). In short, the smear campaign attempted to claim Kate was an asset of the Mossad intelligence agency. Here are links to Kate and Jon’s Substacks from the time describing the Mossad smear campaign.

Amidst the commotion of fleshing the accusations out within our group, a good portion of the WTM members believed the baseless rumors and decided to leave on their own accord, with a few other members deciding to leave due to simply not wanting to deal with the unnecessary drama.

The other co-founder of We The Media, Craig (“InevitableET” or IET), was one of the initial corroborators of the accusations against Kate. He eventually backtracked and apologized for doing so, but his initial support of the accusations led to the remaining We the Media members voting to remove him from ownership of the channels, including Kate. He was pressured to step down from his position as channel owner and it was decided that ownership of the channel be transferred to me, which he obliged.

→ CHANNEL OWNERSHIP (2023-2025)

We The Media continued operations of news aggregation, commentary, meme sharing, and general community-loved shitposting.

I brought on a few new contributors to assist with overall operations of posting and research, including a few trusted mods from my personal Telegram channel and a news aggregator who was already working on her own public brand, which I encouraged her use of We The Media to promote. I wanted to keep the circle small, given the drama that erupted in a larger group of personalities in the past.

I, with Justin Deschamps of Stillness in the Storm and Vigilant News, had toyed around with the idea turning We The Media into a legitimate media business and creating a website with original content, advertising, and the like, but these ideas haven’t come to fruition (yet).

Kate’s involvement in We The Media lessened after the Mossad Fracture saga, during which time she said she was going to be “stepping back” to focus on other ventures. Kate’s last post in any WTM admin group was May 2024, and in February 2025 she privately messaged a WTM admin to invite them into a new brand Kate was working on called “Department of Winning”, saying she felt We The Media had “too much baggage to rebuild”. Due to the lack of activity and confirmed switch of focus to an alternative of to We The Media, along with her statement regarding her negative opinion of WTM, I removed her from the channel.

→ CURRENT SMEAR CAMPAIGN AGAINST JORDAN (Aug 2025)

Over the past 10 days, numerous stories are being told related to the history of We The Media and my involvement with the brand/channel. We will look at the stories and claims being alleged, match that with screenshots, and see if their stories align.

I received text from Craig on August 3rd that I will show along with a public statement Craig has made. We will also look at a few public comments Kate has made, as well as clips from a livestream Kate conducted on August 11th with her version of events.

Point 1) Is Jordan Monetizing We The Media?

This is a fabrication, I am not monetizing We The Media through any advertisers, channel monetization, or otherwise.

There have been talks over the years to turn We The Media into a business, but these talks never materialized. The first effort was when the channel was created in January 2021, there were talks again in October 2022, and I also considered incorporation of WTM in mid-2024 while the channel was under my ownership, but again, these talks never materialized into actual business operations or monetization.

We The Media makes no income, and it actually costs me a few dollars each month in paying for the X premium membership and a URL for a potential website.

Point 2) Jordan’s role in We The Media’s Beginnings

Kate’s main point appears to be that I was not involved in the creation of We The Media, and only joined their “co-founder” group after asking to in late February/early March 2021.

She claims I “texted her and Craig” after doing a show in “she thinks, February”.

I am assuming she is referencing this livestream Craig, Kate, and I conducted on February 28th, 2021.

To say I was only involved with We The Media matters after texting them allegedly saying “I want in” does not line up with history.

Here you can see that I was already in talks in January 2021 pertaining to business matters related to incorporating WTM, a month before this February 28th show.

And here I am in our Guilded chat on January 9th suggesting Telegram as an alternative for everyone to go to since Parler and Gab were down.

On Jan 10th, the We The Media Telegram channel was created by Craig with my guidance, I was teaching them how to navigate and utilize Telegram on that day.

You can also find I made one of the very first posts to the WTM channel on Jan 10th, just an hour after it was created.

There is clear evidence showing I was involved from the very beginning, not just with an admin role of the channel, but also matters pertaining to co-founder roles, such as discussions of turning We The Media into an incorporated media business.

Point 3) Did Jordan help corroborate the Mossad smear campaign against Kate?

Kate recently responded to a comment in her Telegram chat regarding the 2022 Mossad smear campaign against her, now claiming I “had a hand in it”.

Kate also now claims I was on a call “planning the attacks” before they happened, and also “corroborated evidence against her”.

Regarding this “private phone call”, on November 22nd, 2022 Craig texted me and asked me to join a group phone call with Alex (“The Authority”), initial Mossad claim initiator, to “read me in” on “what’s about to come out” regarding Kate.

I sat on the call while Alex made his case of Kate allegedly being a Mossad asset with Craig reinforcing the accusations. I was quiet, as I was processing their claims and did not know what to think. Afterward, I spent the next couple days researching the accusations to see if their evidence was legitimate. After researching, I came to find that these were baseless claims, and I fought hard within the WTM group to debunk the smear campaign and be a voice of reason.

To say I was “planning the attack” or corroborating evidence is baseless in and of itself.

Here is Craig’s full “warning” text to me on August 3rd, where he is giving me two “options”, give the channel to them (Craig and Kate) or get the brunt of a PR campaign and a cease and desist letter.

His narratives are now in line with Kate’s regarding many of their public arguments against me.

Among the narratives in Craig’s text, he is now claiming I was “corroborating evidence against Kate” and a part of the original takedown of We The Media.

This is curious version of events, given that at the time Craig was one of the initial corroborators, which lead to many remaining WTM members wanting him gone and the channel handed to me.

Kate even wanted him gone from WTM due to this, at the time liking a post saying I need complete control of the channel.

She even suggested I could change the name if I wanted upon assuming ownership, and “clean it out and rebuild”.

She also said she will make a statement about stepping away from We The Media.

These are Craig’s texts to me at the time (November 2022), noting that he was stepping away, “washing his hands of it all”, and saying that I could “do with WTM whatever you want”.

So even after the controversy between Kate and Craig, they appear to now be teaming up to attempt to take We The Media back.

And their versions of events today do not appear to align with what actually happened back at the end of 2022, or in 2021 with the channel’s creation.

Point 4) Is Jordan King of the Castle, booting at will?

There are claims that I’ve gone rogue with the the channel and have removed “most of the original team without cause or consent”, as stated by Craig. Kate also referenced this narrative in her livestream.

As described earlier, most of the original team of admins who have left did so on their own accord during Mossad drama, either because they believed the baseless accusation of Kate being compromised, or they just did not want to deal with the controversy.

I have removed a few admins since assuming ownership of channel, but always to consent of fellow admins, and primarily due to lack of activity or conflict of interest.

In regards to removal of Kate, here is her noting that she’s stepping away from We The Media to focus on other projects.

Here is her last post in any of the WTM admin chats, almost a year and a half ago.

And in February 2025 she created a new brand with a few others called “Department of Winning” that did a similar style of news aggregation and commentary to We The Media.

She privately messaged a We The Media admin asking them to join her new group, claiming that they were asked to rebuild WTM, but felt like it had “too much baggage to rebuild”, so they started a new brand/channel.

Due to lack of activity, statements regarding stepping away and WTM having “too much baggage” to focus on, and the apparent conflicts of interest, I removed her from the We The Media channel.

Point 5) Is Jordan exploiting other’s work and using channel for personal gain?

Another allegation they are making is that I’m exploiting other people’s work for the We The Media accounts. In Craig’s public statement, he writes “[Jordan’s] continued to keep the channel for personal gain, while exploiting other’s work.”

I asked a women by the name of Melissa Hallman if she wanted to join as a We The Media contributor in June 2024. She was already running a personal, public channel on Telegram and I was impressed by her consistent news aggregation. She accepted the invitation to admin the WTM channel, and I had no problem with her using the WTM page to promote her personal brand.

While she did post a lot, at no point did I ever tell her to post more to the WTM page or insist she work harder for the WTM brand. She had freedom to post as much, or as little, as she wanted, and I also had no problem with Melissa being involved as an admin on Kate’s personal channel.

And given that WTM has never been monetized, contrary to what has been claimed, to say I “exploited other’s work for personal gain” is a curious statement.

Point 6) The channel dropping subscribers is allegedly Jordan’s fault.

Kate said that I’m “ruling over the ashes” of the “declining” We The Media channel.

This is missing context, which is that all channels on Telegram are effectively losing subscribers. This is possibly due to X being opened back up and people migrating back there, for looking at the statistics of all Telegram channels will show that they’ve been in a decline for a while. Meanwhile, the pages for We The Media on Truth Social and X are gaining subscribers.

Point 7) The Trademark

Kate claims she owns a trademark for We The Media, and Craig says that another person tried filing for one, which allegedly Kate didn’t know about.

In Craig’s August 3rd text that he sent me, shown above, he states that “someone else recently tried filing for [a trademark], Kate wasn't sure if it was you or not… so [Kate] refiled it to make sure it didn't end up with some random person.”

It goes to note that Kate technically doesn’t own the trademark as it is still pending, she just re-filed it in July and the USPTO office has not reviewed or approved it.

And in Craig’s message above, he stated that Kate didn’t know who else recently tried filing for a trademark.

It did not take long for me to search the USPTO website to find that it was Melissa Hallman, who is also a mod on Kate’s private Telegram channel and associated with Kate’s Department of Winning page, who also applied for a We The Media trademark. This was in April.

So how did Kate and Craig apparently not know it was Melissa that tried filing a trademark, given her association with them? Why did Melissa not tell me about her trademark filing since she was an admin on the We The Media channels? Why is Melissa filling a trademark for a page she does not own, and had no hand in creating?

And why is Kate now filling for a trademark for a page she previously said that she was stepping away from and had “too much baggage to rebuild”?

→ CONCLUSION

Some of this storyline may be confusing and tough to follow, especially for those not familiar with the history of We The Media, although I did my best to provide clarity of events and rebuke of false statements.

It’s important to address these claims with facts as there has been a stated intention to ruin my “reputation and brand”, as noted by Craig, as well as threatening me with a cease and desist letter.

The essence of their claims are that I had no role in the co-founding of We The Media, only signing on later, “had a hand” in the corroboration of the Mossad smear campaign, and have “used the channel for personal gain” while “exploiting others” while assuming control of the channel - all with no evidence.
